Meet Sebastiano Mereu
I am a researcher at the Sports Business Research Academy, part of Sebinomics GmbH, and a lecturer in Digital Media and Marketing at B.H.M.S. Business & Hotel Management School in Lucerne and Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences in Zurich, Switzerland. My research focuses on consumer and fan behavior in spectator sports, the uses and gratifications of sports-related media, intentions to watch women’s sports, Web3 adoption, and social media engagement strategies. In addition to my academic work, I serve as a Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist for the Swiss National Museum. I hold a Doctor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Marketing from Heriot-Watt University, UK, as well as a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in International Management from FHNW University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.
